Incline Village Vacation Rentals at Lake Tahoe

Local Beaches

Lake Tahoe beaches are famous for their soft sand, clean water, great views, and endless fun. There are two public Incline Village beaches available – Sand Harbor & Hidden Beach. There’s also three private beaches open exclusively to Incline Village property owners & renters. Your Incline Village Rental provides you access to these nicely maintained beaches all conveniently located in the heart of Incline Village.

Sand HarborSand Harbor Beach Incline Village Lake Tahoe

Sand Harbor Beach is part of the Nevada State Park system and therefore open to the public. This large beach is spread out and includes a sandy peninsula that provides amazing views of Lake Tahoe & the surrounding mountins. It’s located just a couple miles south of Incline Village on the east shore of Lake Tahoe. This is one of the most popular beaches in all of Lake Tahoe. Besides the ocean-sandy beaches, there is a boat launch & nature trails. Visitors can also enjoy scuba diving at the park! Lifeguards are on duty from May through September making this one of the safest beaches around. There are clean restrooms with changing rooms with full showers.

Hidden Beach

Hidden Beach is another public beach. It’s free, but there is only road-side parking. As the name implies, this beach is hidden about 1/2 mile south of Incline Village before you get to Sand Harbor. There is very limited parking, no lifeguard, but this is a beautiful beach perfect for some sunbathing & swimming – minus the huge crowds.

Ski Beach

Ski Beach is the first of the private beaches, and includes bocci and volleyball courts, and a very easy to access boat launch ramp. This beach unlike so many of the other Lake Tahoe beaches, has tree cover for cool shade on hot days. Incline Beach

Incline Beach is a popular swimming beach, with great parking and a beautiful sandy beach that extends all the way to the parking lot. There are numerous picnic areas and open grills to have a lunch on the lake, and even a playground for the little ones. This beach is also on Lakeshore Drive near the Hyatt.

Burnt Cedar Beach

Burnt Cedar Beach is the best maintained of the private beaches. There is a brand new playground, as well as an outdoor heated swimming pool. There are BBQ grills for picnicking, and a snack bar to provide refreshments during the hot summer days. This is a beautiful beach, but is more open to the sun than the other beaches so be ready to break out the sun screen.
